Days 6, 7 and 8

Day 6: Shopping

Finishing up last minute shopping today on amazon. Got to love Amazon Prime!

Day 7: Bright

Our tree shines so bright, we don't use lights in our living room. I love it and this whole time of year. 

Day 8: Ornament

There are so many ornaments on my tree that have special memories tied to them, but this one is one of my favorites because of the true reminder it gives of the season.

Day 5

Day 5-Today's temperature
As today is December 5th you would think that this would be a temp I am used to at this time. But is isn't. We have had some cold spurts this fall but we have also had some warm days. As Kyle was saying this weekend, our grass is greener now than it was this summer. So for now I am crabby with the cold. I don't mind cold as long as there is snow at least in the forecast....

Day 2--Favorite Holiday Movie

This has got to be Elf.  Maybe how it reminds me of my husband, maybe how it is just humorous.  Not sure, but my vote does go to Elf.

Day 3--Red

I have an awesome background on my phone.  It is red, and makes me happy.  Red things do, and it most likely helps that it is my favorite color, even though my husband swears that my favorite color is green.  You would think that I would know my own favorite color though...

Day 4--Joyous

Last night we got our Christmas photos from my sister-in-law.  I LOVE them.  Not only does she do a great job, but they remind me of Christmas and that is a joyous time.  Christmas photos also remind me of getting Christmas cards...which I also LOVE!  Here is one of my favs....

Photo challenge

Well it has been awhile. We have definitely had a busy year. Even though I have not been the best about keeping up on here, I am going to try and complete a photo challenge for the month of December. A way of getting you all caught up before the new year!

So today's photo is my view for today, and although that was mainly made up of me working on progress reports, we did get a chance to go visit the reindeer that were in town.
